Did you know that our story began in 1978, when master baker Rufin Borys and his wife Stefania opened their first bakery in Panewniki, a part of Katowice that has always been close to our hearts? From that moment, a love of exceptional bread took root in our family and soon grew into a passion for cooking.
Młodnik is the result of that passion. Created by a new generation of bakers for guests who appreciate quality, local ingredients and thoughtful cuisine, it draws inspiration from nature not only in its name, but also on every plate.

Behind Młodnik is a team that brings together a passion for baking and cooking with a family tradition dating back to 1978.
Head Chef
Marcin has worked in professional kitchens for more than 25 years. Decisive and focused on action, he creates original flavour combinations and refined compositions on the plate. He feels completely at home in the kitchen, and rediscovering Polish cuisine is his greatest passion. Away from work, he enjoys football and good films.
Sandra Nikiel and Jacek Borys
Brother and sister, Sandra and Jacek grew up with a love of bread and good food. Młodnik is the result of that passion, created by the third generation of bakers to continue their family tradition in Panewniki.
Barbara and Stefan Borys
Barbara and Stefan have worked in the food industry for more than thirty years. Today they share their experience with their children. Młodnik is the culmination of their professional journey and a long-held dream of creating a true restaurant where they can welcome guests and friends.
